Personal Coaching Philosophy

To share my unique knowledge and passion for skiing in a way that balances the roles and responsibilities of an educator/coach.

"I was introduced to NYSEF by our Executive Director John Norton and Northwood School Skiing Director Tommy Biesemeyer. Their passion and knowledge of our sport are closely aligned with the same experiences that helped shape me into a high-level ski racer. From Junior Nationals to the North American Cup, Whiteface has been the home of many important stepping stones in my athletic career. Transitioning from athletics to ski education has been a journey of passion and dedication all about recreating the lifelong learning environments for the next generations to come. A career in coaching became obvious with how easily my skill set could help others reach their own goals. NYSEF has laid the framework for a world-class ski education environment right here at Whiteface Mountain complete with year-round programming, highly accredited coaches, top training venues, and academic support. This environment is perfectly suited for our collective mission and vision."
